ICD Brookfield Place is a 283m tall high-rise commercial and mixed-use development, comprising a 53-storey tower and more than 900,000 square feet of grade A office space. It also has an adjacent five-storey retail centre that offers 13,935 sqm of shopping, dining, fitness and private club facilities spread along multiple terraces, along with an open garden on the top level that creates a vibrant and lively extension to the DIFC.
The project also features an intricate steel frame structure and a seven-level basement (at the time of construction one of the world’s largest).
Scope of Work
- Assistance with QAQC issues such as major NCRs or rejected WIRs
- Logistics planning, construction methodology, and 4D simulation for highly complex steel A-Frame structure
- Development of crane strategy for the project, including single lifts in excess of 80T
- Management of 7-level basement temporary propping strategy
- Management and execution of all temporary works on site including design briefs, inspections, and permits to load for over 500 schemes
